Mansoura for Resins & Chemical Industries Co. (MRI) is located in Mansoura city in Egypt and is about 40 km from Damietta port. It is a pioneer in production of Formaldehyde, Urea Formaldehyde, Phenolic Resins (including Moulding Powder, Brakelining, Foundry Resins), and other chemicals in Egypt, Middle East & Africa. The company was established in 1971 and with continuous expansions has become the largest formaldehyde and derivatives products company in Africa. 

MRI is established with manufacturing technologies from Denmark (Haldor Topsoe), Japan (Mitsubishi), and Switzerland (Studly). It is an ISO 9001:2015 , ISO 14001:2015 And ISO 45001:2018 certified company following latest International technological standards.

MRI is a recognized leader and a Global Player in its industry with exports to more than 30 countries across different continents in all types of packing including Bulk shipments, ISO tanks, Drums, IBC tanks, Jerry cans, etc.

MRI is equipped with a unique combination of best production technology, experienced team, strong infrastructure, and excellent strategic location. It is focused on consistent quality and implemented its plants with latest Fully Automated Foundation Field Bus technology with DCS system from ABB (Switzerland) and Emerson (USA).

MRI has its own tank farm at Damietta Port on Mediterranean Sea to ship in Bulk Shipments of 500 to 5,000 tons. It is the only company in the world to have a facility for exporting Formaldehyde, Urea Formaldehyde, and different resins in large bulk shipments.

MRI has a state of the art LAB and R&D center to ensure best quality of its products. It also has Pilot Plants to conduct research and produce new products to suit our customers’ needs.
